DIY head bow

Sorry for skipping last week's video ^^' Today I made a small and simple bow, since I've got many requests on small, easy and cheap accessories. This fits all thee categories! I got the grosgrain ribbon for about two dollars, the charms were a bit over a dollar and the alligator clip I got a while ago, I got about 50 clips for two or three dollars. So cheap, so easy! But still cute and pretty ^^ Here's the tutorial.

I love how Fall is coming, the evenings are getting darker and chillier. I can't wait for Winter and snow <3

I went to a car event called Forssa PICK-NICK with my SO, and I thought that I would share maybe five photos. ... Okay ten. .... Fine sixteen! I tried, I really did, but I had almost 800 photos to choose from xD

Let's start with the famous Buick  8 in honour of Stephen King <3

There were loads of cars. These are only some of the "show" cars.

Large variety of cars.

This lifted off road pick-up was huge! Me for scale.

The innards of a race car. There were quite a few open hoods.

This year the weather was perfect, a bit windy and cloudy so it wasn't melting hot.

The clouds made a good background for photos ~

Chameleon paint <3

I think older cars are so pretty ^^

Something for everyone!

The inside of the race track was for parked cars, cars drove around the circuit and there were cars parked along the outsides.

A very unusual, tiny BMW <3

Note the rusty beetle and the driver's goggles :D

The details! The register plate had iron crosses.

I love these ratty looks :D It had different kinds of stickers all over it.

And lastly this monster of a car. I had fun <3

Lolita 52 Challenge, part one

I've been thinking about doing the lolita 52 challenge from F Yeah Lolita for a while now, but since it's quite a massive project I've been putting it off. However I realized that I can do this in parts and choose the questions I feel like answering at the moment, and without further ado, here is the first part! I chose questions that I thought were good to start with and answered them in my video. :)

10. How I first found about lolita?
35. What I thought when I got my first real piece of lolita?
15. 3 things I wish I was told when I was a new lolita
30. How long it took me to build a complete wardrobe
7. Why I wear lolita?

Family time

Last weekend was family time! On Friday I went out for dinner and dessert with my sister and mum, and after that we went to see Minions :3 The movie was okay-ish, I laughed heartily at some points but for most of the movie I had a "is this it?" vibe. Despicable Me was better, but this was quite fun too. :) We got candy before the movie, here is my big sister ^^ You can also see a bit of my hair, it's a coppery red at the top and black at the bottom.

On Saturday the three of us went to visit a family friends. It's become a yearly visit, though it's quite hard to fit our time tables together; me with the book store random hours, my mum and sister have office jobs and the lady we visited is an entrepreneur with mould detection dogs (which they have many, as well as hunting dogs) so it's a bit of a hassle but we managed to find a day which was good for all of us ^^ Here is a dim photo ~ I got a bunch of wild raspberries to take home with me and made yummy things.

On our 2,5 hour way there we stopped at a mall called Willa, because it has New Yorker! There will be one close to us soon but for now, we all wanted to stop there to buy awesome clothes :D I saw several leather pants and skirts that I would've wanted, but all of them had only sizes 34 and 42, which are either way too small or way too big ;___; I did get a pretty basic, comfy blue blouse (5€) that I plan to do something with and some hair flowers for lolita. You can find these pretty much anywhere, but usually I've seen them for about five euros per flower, and that's a bit much... Especially since I already have a bunch :D But I can never have too many, and since these were 2€ per two flowers, I got two packs! I have very little of white anything, black is always good and this red one is a darker shade than the small red one I already have.

Aaand guess what else I found? A CAT BLOUSE! xD I don't usually buy "normal" clothes anymore since I have so many, but this was 10€ and I wanted it. Now I can be a crazy cat lady! I plan on wearing it with a vest, tie, punk trousers and a lot of metal jewelry to make it seem even weirder :P

Future videos

Hello again, this week's video is more of a talky video in stead of a tutorial ^^' I talk about what videos I have planned for the future, what kind of fabrics I now at hand and what I plan for them (and ask what to do with others), and take requests :D Here is the outfit I wore for the video, I want to try more steampunk lolita ~

As for my future videos, I might as well list them in here as well!

Talky videos: Where to buy affordable nags and accessories, room tour / sewing supplies, how to navigate Lacemarket, lolita and ebay (pros, cons, tips)

Tutorials (in random order): High waisted A-line skirt, skirt with only partial shirring, skirt with suspenders and / or waist ties, JSK's with two different bodice styles, tiered skirt, big and small accessories and how to "lolify" a cardigan and different blouses.

You can also request different tutorials, talky videos or anything what you'd like to see either in here on on Youtube, as a comment or private message :) I plan to make videos for a long time still and have a long list, but will eventually do allof them! ^^

Yet another convention :D I had fun, met old and new friends, spent a bit of money on animu  merch (not too much but enough to get souveniers). I was quite lazy with my camera, I take less and less photos every year. I don't really have energy to write a lot, so here are a bunch of photos ^^

Saturday coord, I wanted comfy lolita that I don't mind wearing if I bump into someone in body paint.

Sunday con outfit, I went for a lazy I-know-it's-not-accurate kimono. The shoes were actually quite good to walk with :D

Sunday evening coord, I wore this to movies (Avengers, seen it twice now, still good) becauce I didn't feel like wearing a kimono all day. Poor photo due to dark con area, I have a better one but it has friends in it so I won't put it here, sorry...

Onto cosplay photos!

I was so happy I saw them, El Dorado is an awesome movie thanks to these characters :D

Line to the haunted house. It was worth it.

Anime music quiz! We knew next to nothing, still fun though x3

Aside from the quiz and haunted house, we didn't really participate to the panels  - except for the cosplay shows, which we watched both days. It was really awesome, but we were on the second-to-last row so the few photos I took are pretty useless :/ They also showed CMVs! I had no idea that they were a thing that existed (I've seen AMVs but didn't know there were cosplay ones). Some were a bit meh but two were really good: Shingeki one with really good costumes, plot, editing and the feeels ; the other was a very silly Free! one that made me smile ^^ Tears and joy, brought to you by cosplay! I want to get more into these.

Onto general  photos!

Loud yaoi dude was there, as always.

I'll show my shoppings later ^^
